History

COPA Flight 176 was formed in 2011 with the aims of furthering general aviation in and around Edmonton Alberta, mindful of the closure of Edmonton's City Airport Blatchford Field.

We serve all pilots and aircraft and airports around the Edmonton area including Villeneuve, Josephburg, Cooking Lake, Parkland, and Edmonton International.

Meetings

We meet at the Alberta Aviation Museum at 7pm on the first Thursday of each month except July and August. Guests and visitors are always welcome. Most meetings feature a guest speaker and discuss various topics of aviation.

Events

We plan several major events per year including a Rust Remover, a Fly-In Breakfast, and a Discover Aviation day (COPA for Kids).
