Spring Rust Remover   COPA Edmonton plans a Rust Remover in the spring to provide a means for member pilots to satisfy the requirements of CARs for 24 month currency.  

COPA Flight 176 (Edmonton) - Rust Remover COPA Flight 176 (Edmonton) plans a Rust Remover each Spring to help pilots brush off the rust from their flying skills and knowledge. The whole idea of the Rust Remover is to help general aviation pilots comply with the CARs currency requirement. Many GA pilots also fly infrequently during the winter, so this is an excellent opportunity to brush up on some important and relevant knowledge. Pilots who attend receive certification of having met the 2 year currency requirement of CARs. Rust Remover 2013 This year's Rust Remover was held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at the Alberta Aviation Museum at Edmonton City Centre airport (CYXD).
